the issue for Conservatives is ECONOMICS....it's your POCKETBOOK...it's America's POCKETBOOK

get off of immigration and race and all these other racial issues...race doesn't matter if your POCKETBOOK is doing fine....race doesn't matter if America's POCKETBOOK is doing fine

get off of the social issues

Conservatives (and I hope that means the GOP)  need to be the PARTY OF PEOPLE WHO GET A PAYCHECK

we need to save America from becoming a majority of government benefit receiver voters

it ought to be easy to convince Americans that voting for liberals who will give away increasingly more and more of your paycheck will create a permanent majority that will continue to take more and more of your paycheck that you will NEVER BE ABLE TO STOP

imagine running a company, seeing a major problem blow up, calling in your manager to make her explain what happened, and she tells you "no, I refuse to answer your questions on the grounds it may tend to incriminate me"

WTF!!!!

well, meet Lois Lerner, our employee/high-level official at the IRS

rather than tell us how her agency targeted Conservatives and religious people and organizations, she invoked her 5th Amendment right against self incrimination

well that's fine...it's her Constitutional right

BUT....

she is our employee, and as her employer, we need to tell her the ramifications of refusing to tell us what happened are SHE LOSES HER JOB, SHE LOSES HER BENEFITS, AND SHE LOSES HER PENSION

WHY ON EARTH would we allow such a person to keep any of these "public trust" provided benefits????
